About Jaxsen

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

I am quick and known to just show up out of nowhere and do whatever it takes to make the play. I can learn quickly and play whatever position is needed in the moment. I am a gritty defender and never hesitate to make the tackle. On offense, my speed (4.59 40) stands out.

What are you working to improve right now?

I am always working to be my best. Currently, I am training multiple times a week with Kegan Schumann of Revive Performance and dedicating some daily time to the weight room to add some more size and mass behind my powerful and explosive frame. Always pushing to get bigger, better, faster, and stronger! Current PR's: 40-4.59 Pro-4.38 Vertical-29.9" Broad- 9'1.5" Deadlift-405 Bench-255 Squat-365

What are you looking for in a college program?

I am looking for a family. I want to be surrounded by athletes and coaches all working towards the same goal and where everyone is putting in the work needed to get there! I like to play very physical, gritty football and want a program who is passionate about that and a coach who can recognize my determination to succeed, work hard, and contribute to the team on and off the field!

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I have a big heart. I care about my family, teammates, and those around me. I have been known to take my little sister to the daddy/daughter dance when she needed someone, pick up locker room trash, and show up to help my family and friends whenever they need.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I want to be an educator and future coach. I have a passion for helping others succeed and to help guide and lift others up! I umpire youth baseball in the summer and plan on helping with youth football in some capacity this fall!
