I didn’t have a stat line from Jaxon from Week 0, but the Centerville 2028 defensive end didn’t take long to show how much he’s grown since his sophomore season with the Tornadoes. The now 6’3 220 pounder, has gained more power in his hands from last season and the elusisve agility with his hands show that off in Week 0 against Sioux Falls Lutheran. All you need to do is watch his first two plays to see what I am talking about as the aggression has emerged for Jaxon as one that my gut tells me spent some good time in the weight room over the summer as his lateral movement also seem notchs quicker from last season. Jaxon is a defensive end I firmly believe will be inside our top 100 in South Dakota in no time.
Jaxon is a 2028 prospect that has a really agile first step, as one you don’t expect coming from the defensive tackle spot at the 9-man level. The 6’3 215 pounder, has some upside with working his hands quicker off blocks but another area that struck a chord with Jaxon is just how solid his motor is getting out of the inside box to go make a tackle. As a pulling guard Jaxon is fluid out of his stance and does a good job at getting his defenders off balance with their feet even with upside with lowering his pad-level. Surely another name to watch out of Centerville in this 2028 class.
