Gilmore was an impressive playmaker on both sides of the ball, and really flashed offensively. It isn’t easy to wiggle and create your own yards in a 7v7 setting, but that’s exactly what he did to catch my attention. He is explosive, gets up to his top gear in a hurry, and he holds it while changing direction. That benefits him before and after the catch. I am expecting Gilmore to continue his playmaking ways on day 2, and given that he is a TD threat from any spot on the field, he could have a play or two that shapes the tournament.
