About Javion

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Leader. I know what goes wrong and I try my best to make sure it goes right the next play. I take accountability when I don’t do my best and I try to fix it for me and my brothers to win the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love to win and I want to be the best while only doing my 1/11 of the work

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received an academic achievement award for having 4.0 or higher in a semester.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I learned not to depend on others to get better at what I want to do because this is my future not theirs. I learned that to win games it’s not just about me being the best, so I help teammates that aren’t doing what coach is expecting and I expect them to do the same for me so that we all win.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Lack of consistency. I always want to be the best in the room but I don’t always put the work in when I have free time. I always have football and future on my mind so some decisions I make are for it but not always all which makes me not as consistent.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any college that can use my abilities for the better and that can help me leave an impact.
