Blewett is a strong and downhill back that squared his shoulders and runs his feet through contact while showing contact balance and vision in tight windows with a natural first level burst. He is a two-way player and could play on either side in college and enters into our rankings update just outside the top 60 overall. The Homedale product is a versatile prospect with natural hands out of the backfield, is able to run inside or outside the tackles and is a sure tackler with natural hips in coverage and packs a punch in the box from his second level position as well.

Blewett is one of the top rushers in the region and has been flying under the radar up to this point over the course of his prep career. He is a very balanced and explosive back that can run inside, bounce it outside and is a effective pass catcher out of the backfield as well. He has showed that he is another next level ball carrier that has been under-recruited and is going to make a D3+ team very happy once he signs to a next level school. Blewett erupted this week rushing for 107 yards and 44 yards receiving with 1 score while tacking on 4 tackles, 2 TFL’s, and a fumble recovery on defense for Homedale.

The Homedale product is one of the more downhill and physical runners across the region and should have a very solid senior season. He is a smooth athlete for his size, runs behind his pads with forward lean/leg drive through contact and bounces off ankle/arm tackles with ease. He flashes a quick initial burst through the first level and is tough to take down once he gets going. Doubling on defense as well, he is a high IQ and disruptive linebacker that does a nice job tackling in space, setting the edge and adding consistent edge pressure when coming from various angles.
