Hannah has the type of length that has already and will continue to warrant some next-level consideration. And if you look at what he did at last year’s combine (primarily his 77-inch wing span, his 4.69 40 time or his 101-inch broad jump), his production for the Bears during last year’s 12-1 season doesn’t seem like much of a shock at all.
The opposing offenses charged with keeping pace with Carvers Bay’s potent rushing attack – something that limited possessions – did whatever they could to do on whatever side of the field Hannah wasn’t lining up on with his hand on the ground. It decreased his own numbers, perhaps, but not those of his team, primarily in the win column.
Hannah then turned it on in the playoffs against teams who didn’t scout him as closely; he eclipsed his tackles for loss figure from the regular season in just three postseason games. He also added a sack and a forced fumble in the second season, too. The sky is the limit for his senior year.
