Recently taking himself off the board with a commitment to Princeton, Moore will be one of the biggest risers in our linebacker rankings when they are released soon and it’s based off a stellar senior year that shows increased skills that make this Nashville area defender a sleeper D1 prospect. Moore is a big dude with a large and wide upper body that translates well to the next level along with the physicality, pursuit and speed to develop even further within the college game. This guy’s effort is unquestionable as Moore competes every play like it’s his last and he doesn’t stop till he hits somebody. His ability to take on and shed blocks then pursue to the ball makes the Big Red linebacker fit well on the outside but Moore has the smarts and skill set to excel at middle backer as well.  Senior Film

Eval: As we inch closer to the start of the 2023 Fall football season, Moore sits as one of the more under the radar defensive talents we have not just from his Mid-Tennessee region but the entire state. A big, physically imposing edge linebacker with nice length and a frame that can take on more weight, Moore is a well versed football player that brings a lot of clean, dependable traits to the football field. The Big Red senior does a good job of standing up blockers and shedding towards the ball using a good burst and closing speed. His work against the run off the edge is outstanding and something that could allow him to see the field early on the next level. 

While Moore is technique sound against the run, he also shows the upside as a potential pass rusher due to his size, length and speed around the edge. Moore is a good athlete with a mobile lower base that will develop further with continued work and development as he matures. He is also an excellent worker that will put in the time needed both on and off the field to become the best player and teammate he can be. A few Ivy League schools are in pursuit of this Big Red linebacker but I feel bigger programs might get involved with more research on Moore and a big breakout senior year.

Aggressive, consistent and productive. Those are three traits that immediately stand out when researching this Nashville area linebacker but one reason or another, Moore has yet to see a spike with his recruitment but I believe that will change sooner than later. Last year as a junior, Moore had a breakout year as one of the Big Red’s top producing defenders, providing strong play on the edge against both the pass and the run. Another strong trait that Moore brings to the field is his high football intelligence and ability to play multiple linebacker roles. The Big Red backer is big and long enough to play on the edge or slide over into the middle and dominate against the run. Moore is just too talented with too many strong physical traits to remain under the radar for too much longer.
