A Pennsylvania junior currently sitting on our watch list who will almost certainly find his way into our rankings during the next update. He is now listed at 6’0.5, 205 pounds with a 3.3 GPA, representing an impressive increase of approximately an inch and a half in height and 25 pounds since we last updated his measurements. That physical development is noticeable on tape, as he looks considerably more imposing than he did during my previous evaluation. He identifies as an outside linebacker and tight end, although he also has the athletic versatility to contribute at running back. I was already interested in his potential as a multipositional prospect, but his improved frame and current season production have made me much more confident in his long term outlook. There is little question in my mind that he deserves an official ranking at this point.

One thing I particularly appreciate is how consistently he has been sharing his production throughout the season. He has uploaded individual game highlights almost every week, including footage from an impressive two sack performance against Palmyra in early October. He also posted a complete midseason highlight reel to Hudl approximately two weeks ago and has continued adding footage from three additional games since then. That is exactly the type of activity I want to see from a young prospect who is trying to establish himself within the recruiting landscape. He is making his film accessible, demonstrating continued production and giving college coaches opportunities to follow his development throughout the season. His midseason reel runs approximately two minutes, but it contains several genuinely impactful plays that immediately caught my attention.

The tape opens with him aligned at linebacker, recognizing a developing swing pass toward his side of the field. He reads the quarterback’s intentions, begins fading toward the intended target and puts himself in excellent position to intercept the throw. He then returns the football for a touchdown, giving us a tremendous opening rep that demonstrates his awareness, movement ability and ability to create points defensively. I already knew he possessed the versatility to contribute at tight end and potentially running back, but this rep provides another reminder that he is a legitimate athlete at the linebacker position. For a player now standing 6’0.5 and weighing 205 pounds, I particularly appreciate how comfortably he moves into coverage and how quickly he transitions from recognizing the play to attacking the football. That is an encouraging combination of size, instincts and athletic ability.

His second rep might be even more impressive from an effort and physicality standpoint. He is part of a two man pass rush working against six offensive blockers, a situation where the offense should have a significant advantage in protection. Despite those numbers, he manages to fight through two offensive linemen, continue working toward the quarterback and eventually finish with a sack. I love the persistence here. He doesn’t shut down his effort when the initial blocking action prevents him from reaching the backfield, and he continues fighting until he creates an opportunity to finish the play. That is the type of motor and mentality I want to see from a linebacker, particularly one who is still developing physically. He understands that pressure doesn’t always come immediately, and he is willing to work through multiple blockers rather than accepting that the play is over.

Another excellent rep has him aligned directly at the line of scrimmage, where his lateral agility creates problems for an offensive tackle attempting to contain him. He is surprisingly slippery for a player with his build, using his movement ability to work around the initial block before encountering a running back attempting to assist in pass protection. He runs through that additional blocker, continues applying pressure and helps force an interception. That is a tremendous example of his ability to affect the outcome of a play without necessarily recording the sack himself. His presence disrupts the quarterback’s timing and forces a mistake that his defense is able to capitalize on. The following rep features him recording a tackle for loss, adding another example of his ability to penetrate the backfield and create negative plays. Within just a few highlights, he has demonstrated coverage instincts, pass rushing ability, physicality and the motor to consistently finish plays.

What stands out most about this evaluation is the sheer number of game changing plays he manages to produce within a relatively short highlight reel. In approximately two minutes, he showcases a pick six, multiple examples of quarterback pressure, a sack against significant blocking attention, a forced interception and a tackle for loss. Those aren’t simply routine tackles or plays where he happens to be near the football. He is directly influencing possessions and creating opportunities for his team to take control of games. His improved measurements make those traits even more intriguing, and I believe his combination of effort, physicality and athletic versatility gives him a strong foundation for continued development at outside linebacker. I still want to see how his coverage technique, block shedding consistency and overall movement skills progress as he continues adding weight, but the current film gives me plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

At this point, I consider him one of the most impressive prospects I’ve evaluated on this particular list, and there is a legitimate argument that he has been the best player featured so far. His growth from a watchlisted prospect into a 6’0.5, 205 pound defensive playmaker has been substantial, and his consistent production makes it difficult to justify keeping him outside our rankings any longer. He is clearly capable of affecting games in several different ways, whether that means rushing the quarterback, creating turnovers, making plays behind the line of scrimmage or contributing at another position when needed. I expect him to be ranked during our next update, and I’m particularly interested in determining how high he belongs among Pennsylvania’s 2028 linebackers. This is a quality prospect with an encouraging ceiling, and I’m excited to continue following his development as additional film becomes available.
