Torain popped up on our radar when I looked at a surprisingly deep group of Durham/Orange County linebackers. Torain plays much bigger than his frame suggests, and he’s unafraid of mixing it up on the interior. His motor and smart angles helped him rack up tackles last season, and he’s a guy who should only get better as he grows.

Torain isn’t the biggest guy, but he excels at putting himself in position to make plays, and he made a ton of them as a sophomore. He’s relentless in pursuit, so he’s never out of a play. Expect him to add some weight this offseason, but as it stands, he’s an excellent, athletic outside backer with hitting ability and speed.
