Silva was a guy already on our radar – a two-time CHSFL All-League selection, and he has some good accolades in his back pocket. However, I thought this season his tape had a little more juice and physical presence than years past. He added in a fair amount of RB reps, which showed his athleticism and movement in another way, but I still view him as an LB prospect.
He is much more violent finishing plays and more active with his hands getting off blocks on his JR tape – I also thought he showed more agility and better lateral movement than years past, I tried to take guys from our WL or new names for this article but had to mention Silva after a strong Jr year.

Silva was one of the top-performing underclassmen in the CHSFL as a sophomore. Although the Spellman team had a tough season, Silva was a solid presence in the middle of their defense. Silva is a sideline-to-sideline type LB who plays with a high motor and is a consistent tackler.
