Guidry showed out and left little doubt he belonged. He clocked the fastest 40s of the day at 4.79 and 4.82, and that burst translates straight to the field. He plays fast, reacts quickly, and feels well about where the ball is going. His instincts and ball skills are there, and he doesn’t waste time getting to the play. He was one of the top performers today and looked the part from start to finis,h and I left impressed.

Guidry has developed on the JV levels for the first 2 seasons and should be set for Varsity next fall. He’s got enough weight behind the pads to play in the second level and more than enough range. I’d like to see how he handles everything at once next fall, but we have to wait until then.
