Stroud will also be on a new team this season, transferring from Calvary Christian (Fort Lauderdale) to McArthur (Hollywood). The change should raise eyebrows for plenty, seeing the 6-foot-5, 195-pounder for the first time.
His mechanics seem similar to Bailey’s as they both have similar frames. Whether under center or from the shotgun, Stroud has above-average footwork and is an accurate passer. He does have some escapability, but he is a true pocket passer with a high ceiling.
