Jackson has continued to develop over the last two seasons for Gettysburg and we have had a front row seat for it at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. He displays consistent powerful hands and his get off agility with his hands continues to develop showcase after showcase. The 6’2 200 pounder also has intriguing length that he’s learned how to utilize to his advantage in all the reps we have been able to watch. Surely is a hidden gem that will be added to our 2028 SD rankings here very soon.

Jackson now in back to back Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcases has shown to me how well he can use his length to his advantage, as he’s added some other traits that intrigued me as well this time in Aberdeen. The 6’2 200 pounder I felt was more progressive with his reps on Sunday in Aberdeen, meaning I felt his intent with his striking ability has gotten much more physical since the last time we watched in at our Dakotas Showcase. Not only is their more force in Jackson’s hands, but you can tell that in game-like setting this young man plays with another gear. He has a sizable motor that I feel keeps churning larger in every showcase setting and he added more agile change of direction than before in his reps I watched on Sunday. He’ll be a pass rusher you see on our 2028 rankings real soon out of Gettysburg.

Jackson was a new name to my 2028 radar out of Potter County, and man, was I really impressed with this young man during the live reps. Even before realizing that Jackson had the longest wingspan in the DL group (6’6, 78 inches) I could see him from a mile away when watching his reps and was impressed with how well for his age he was able to use that length and also was impressive with his swift get off. Jackson was a 2028 prospect that won plenty of reps from what I watched, as the athleticism he showed off with his shedding hands showed off persistency and agility from start to finish. He surely is a 2028 DE prospect that I need to get on my 2028 rankings ASAP as I loved the football IQ and frame that can grow in the coming years with Jackson. Twitter
