Schipfer had a season high in carries and yardage against Kent Denver. Measures in at 5’10 170-pounds and had 36 carries for 234 yards for 3 touchdowns. This elusive bruiser pounded the rock all night, consistently getting yards with each carry. Very good athletic ability due to very good speed, balance, good acceleration, and change of direction. Schipfer has very good inside running. He picks, slides, and accelerates into the open hole. If one is covered, he’ll pivot and jump cut into the open one. Schipfer consistently gains yards after contact. This running back is a bowling ball. He trucks through the defender easily, or stiffs arm the defender to the ground. One thing about Jackson is he can take a lot of hits, and still pound the defense throughout the game. Kid is a dawg, and I’m excited to see how he does in the next round.
Schipfer brings a punishing style to the backfield, thriving as a bruiser who can break through tackles and impose his will on defenders. His ability to run with power and get north and south quickly makes him effective in picking up tough yardage and sustaining drives. Schipfer has also shown his value in pass protection, giving his offense stability on third downs while also proving capable of catching passes out of the backfield to keep defenses honest. His physical presence makes him a tone setter for his team and as the season progresses, his blend of toughness and reliability will continue to be what makes this offense go. Schipfer is the type of back who can grind down defenses over four quarters and change the momentum of a game.
Schipfer turned in a standout performance, shouldering the offensive load for The Classical Academy. He carried the ball 25 times for an eye-popping 218 yards and one touchdown. Schipfer’s vision and burst allowed him to find gaps in the defense and get into the open field, where he used his speed to punish defenders. His north-south running style and ability to make explosive plays make him a crucial player to watch as The Classical Academy pushes deeper into the playoffs.
