Huisman contributed 6.5 tackles, including 1.5 stops for loss in 2025, but most of his production came as the Spartans’ starting left offensive tackle. Grundy Center swept the competition until a loss in the Class 1A state semifinals ended its quest for a fourth consecutive title. Huisman is technically sound and agile, which helps him overcome not being a bigger guy on the offensive front. He performs with balance and optimal hand placement. It would be interesting to see what Huisman could become on defense with his set of skills, too. His frame is capable of adding plenty of good weight, which gives him a decent amount of upside from here.
