Expert Analysis
Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
Batch, who is one of the recent risers across the ’27 class in California, is one of the more explosive and dynamic ’27 playmakers the state has to offer and has the ideal length/frame for the outside receiver position. He checks the boxes for the FCS/FBS level and holds offers from Washington State, Colorado state and Sac State and should see others come through the off-season. He has been off to a breakout Junior campaign and erupted in week 5 going for 150+ yards and 3 scores and is almost at the halfway mark of 1,000 yards receiving on the year heading into week 6.

Batch picked up his first offer from Sacramento State and possesses a lot of key traits to keep stacking more. Lean frame with length at 6’2” 180 lbs. He accelerates hard off the ball for a strong drive phase to force the DB to transition. He’s a long strider that can push vertically and break away from defenders after the catch. Excellent release moves against press coverage and can be effective playing in the slot or lined up outside. Finished the 2024 season with 57 receptions for 733 yards and 13 touchdowns.
