Joyce is the top unsigned running back across Idaho and checked into our rankings as a number two ball carrier in his class. He’s coming off a tremendous Senior season where he had a dominant year and proved he is one of the top backs in the state. Joyce is a very balanced runner with natural forward lean, contact balance, leg drive through contact and can bounce off arm and ankle tackles. He shows good start stop abilities in the short area twitch in the hole and has a true third level gear while able to force defenders to take that angles in open space. He has been severely under recruited it is a no-brainer next level caliber player.

Joyce is another complete back that has the speed to really get to the edge of the defense, toughness to run in between the tackles and then has soft hands to catch the football out of the backfield. He is you prototype scat back that can do a ton of the football field but really isn’t afraid of contact and doesn’t go down easily. Has good open field wiggle and should be a name to watch in the coming months.

Joyce is one of the top running backs across all of Idaho, and is coming off a stellar Junior season for Teton. He checks into our running back ranks as the number two overall player at his position, and should be atop the rushing leaderboards every week this Fall. He is extremely explosive to the first level while showing natural ball carrying abilities and forward lean with Good leg drive-through contact. He is a twitchy runner with start/stop abilities that can make defenders miss both in the hole in an open space while showing cutback abilities and good vision in the open field. Joyce also shows he has breakaway speed and has a very complete skillset for the running back position.

Joyce is a very explosive runner, and put together a Junior campaign that rocketed him into our rankings this time around, and deservingly so. He is a very twitchy and explosive runner that can make big plays in space while making defenders miss in the hole and finds small creases to hit before hitting that second level gear. He also flashes an impressive short area wiggle and has good start/stop abilities in traffic while always falling forward to getting a tough yards. A natural pass catcher out of the backfield, Joyce shows strong hands, tracking abilities and yards after catch abilities while able to stick his toe in the ground and get vertical in a hurry.

Joyce was a monster for Teton this season as he led the 2025 class in rushing in the state of Idaho with 1496 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. Joyce has a unique blend of speed and toughness that allows him to make big plays on the edge of the defense and through the trenches. He is able to setup blocks and get down hill quickly and is not afraid of contact. He will definitely be on the rankings watch list and should be a high riser this offseason.
