Baker brings a physical running style complemented by the speed to get to the perimeter and turn opportunities into explosive gains. Baker has totaled 1,059 rushing yards on 100 carries, averaging more than 10 yards per attempt while scoring nine touchdowns. His longest run of 97 yards shows the breakaway speed he possesses and his ability to change the game with a single touch. Ball security remains an area for improvement, as he has lost four fumbles this season. Taking better care of the football will be important as he continues to develop. Baker’s combination of power, speed and production makes him a small school prospect worth keeping on the radar.
