JT Barlow is a dominant safety prospect out of Hillcrest who had a huge season in their secondary last fall.

Barlow is a highly athletic and instinctual DB- he’s great at identifying plays, flies around the field to get to the ball, and never gets beaten downfield for big gains. Barlow has great ball skills and is a threat to pick off passes anywhere on the field- he tracks opposing QB’s eyes and the ball really well and has a reliable set of hands he uses to break up and pick off passes.

Barlow is also a force against the run- he plays with great pursuit, is an impressive tackler, and can easily take down the ball carrier for little to no gain, regardless of where he lines up pre-snap. On top of that, Barlow is a huge playmaker on special teams- he has great vision, finds open lanes, and consistently puts his team in great starting field position.

Barlow is also incredibly productive on special teams, he has great vision, finds open lanes, and outs his team in great starting field position. Barlow has had a wildly productive offseason, picking up offers from big-time programs all over. Throughout last month he picked up offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Wake Forest, and plenty more.
