Jones shows what he can do all over the back end when it comes to playing the safety position. He brings a complete skill set that allows him to impact the game in multiple ways, whether it’s in coverage, run support, or creating plays on the football.

He moves well in space and stays active reading the field, always finding himself around the ball. Jones is comfortable rotating deep, working over the top, and also stepping down into the box when needed. That versatility allows a defense to move him around and trust him in different situations without losing production.

In run support, he plays with physical intent, triggering quickly and not shying away from contact when he has to come downhill. He takes solid angles to the ball and does a good job of finishing plays once he arrives. In coverage, he stays connected to routes and shows the ability to break on throws when quarterbacks test him in his area.
