Irving’s numbers may not pop at you when you first look at them, but the Ohio University commit has elite talent and that’s what got him the 1st team Running Back for Buck Sweep Sports. Brown did get 14 rushing TDs and over 1,200 rushing yards, but the 5’11 200lb running back is a true diamond in the rough. Brown has the speed to score from anywhere on the field and strong enough to carry the ball between tackles.

Brown jumped 25 spots in this rankings update thanks to a strong offseason during which he picked up multiple Ivy League and FCS offers. He isn’t your typical wing back as he excels as both a pass-catcher and power back. He has good vision has great initial burst which he displays often on counters and zone runs. His pass-catching ability is an underrated part of his game, and one I’m interested to see going forward.
