I thought Infinite picked up right where he left off this past season as far as being a major impact player for the Vikings. His blocking on the edge at tight end on offense helped spring some big plays in the running game. Defensively he was also stout in setting the edge and providing pressure on the quarterback in the passing game. Teams are going to have to double team him, especially in the running game, to get movement and that’s going to free up his teammates to make plays. He should get more recruiting attention as the season goes on for sure.
Morrow is a versatile, two-way athlete who could succeed at multiple positions at the next level. Though he plays a lot off the edge, he’s at his best when he’s using his strength to push the pocket, and he’ll likely move inside at the next level. He has a ton of length and speed, enough that he’s a true blocking tight end prospect with some receiving upside, though it’d be difficult to convince me he shouldn’t play defense.
Infinite had a strong season this past year for the Vikings, and in multiple games, his impact was felt as a strong run stopper on the line of scrimmage for Central Cabarrus. Infinite shows his athleticism in short spaces both as a defensive lineman and as a tight end on offense. Voted as his team’s defensive MVP this past season, Infinite is starting to receive more interest from college football programs. Infinite also recently received his first Division 1 offer from Hampton University, congrats to him!
Morrow is a massive, high-upside lineman with a body type that immediately projects to the next level. At 6’5” and close to 300 pounds, he brings rare size and length, giving him the flexibility to line up on the edge at the high school level while projecting as an interior defensive lineman long term. His frame allows him to absorb contact, anchor against the run, and still collapse space inside. As he continues to refine his pad level and hand usage, his effectiveness only rises. With his size alone creating matchup problems, Morrow is a developmental prospect with clear next-level traits and a ceiling that fits well on the interior moving forward.
I recently saw a video of the 275-pound Morrow dunking a basketball, and that highlights the athletic potential of the two-way player. I plan to dig into some of his film from a strong junior season in the coming months, and I think I’ll like what I see. He’s mainly winning off of athletic ability, which isn’t a bad thing when projecting future rankings risers. As he refines his game a bit more, I could see him flying up our board.
