South Central Calhoun benefited from Stickrod’s contributions in all three phases of the game last fall. The junior rushed for 154 yards (5.9 YPC) and two touchdowns, and hauled in 12 balls for 125 yards and a pair of scores. He was credited with 15.0 tackles with 12 of those stops being solo. Stickrod picked off a pass and a half tackle for loss also showed up in the stats. He averaged 15.0 yards on six kick returns. Stickrod impresses during his 11th-grade highlight video. He’s a high-motor linebacker that diagnoses plays well before the snap and gets downhill against the run in a hurry. Stickrod is a technically sound tackler that wraps up and drives through the offensive player. Speed and fluid movements aid him in sticking with receivers in coverage. Stickrod is explosive with the ball in his hands, making opponents miss in space and accelerating quickly.
