Buckingham measures in at 6’0 245-pounds. Buckingham has a good initial quickness out of his stance paired with good hand speed. Maintains a low pad level due to his good knee bend, and flexibility. Very good strength, hand strength, and good hand placement to control and steer his opponents. Plays through the whistle. Buckingham has a good anchor as well. Good acceleration and speed to run from 1^st to 2^nd level blocks or out in space. I’m intrigued to see how he does his senior season !

Measuring in at 6’0 220-pounds, Buckingham played LT for Basalt this past season. One thing about Buckingham is his physicality at the line of scrimmage. Very good strength. He has a good quickness out of his stance. Good hand placement and very good hand strength to control the DL. Buckingham is a good pull blocker. Explosive with his movements. He has good acceleration and good speed to block out in space, like screens. Buckingham has good mental processing and good timing to go from the 1^st level to 2^nd level when blocking. He’s a rising offensive lineman that I’m excited to see more of.

A high IQ player and likely Academic All-State honoree, Buckingham plays with relentless effort and strong technique. Defensively, his high motor allows him to shed blocks quickly and disrupt opposing offenses rhythm. He consistently finds ways into the backfield, making big tackles for loss and forcing hurried plays. Offensively, he constantly has great hand placement, locking onto defenders and driving them out of position to create running lanes. His ability to pick up blocks downfield makes him a key player for this team in the ground game. One of the top linemen to watch in 2A, Buckingham is shaping up to be a dominant two-way player.
