Based off what he did Freshman year, I liked Marshall a lot as a running back – his size and ability to change direction stood out on film. This year – I’ve seen him play two halves of football (2 separate games) and added in some film evals, and I think as a sophomore, he might be standing out more as a linebacker. He has an excellent frame for either position and is well defined/muscular athlete – he is physical with his hands can get off blocks, and shows the explosive movements in space and solid closing speed in the open field.

Marshall III is the biggest RB on this list at 6′ 210lbs already heading into his sophomore season. While he may not have the production or even quality of film as some of the other RB prospects may have but he flashes some quality stuff on tape.

Marshall III has a variety of film, you see solid blocking reps in both the pass and run game in addition to several touches and even some defensive plays at LB. With the ball in his hands, Marshall III avoids defenders more than he runs through them, but he consistently falls forward and is able to get a couple of extra yards with effort and size alone. He shows good movement skills for a back his size and has a lot of room to grow his game.
