– I’m surprised Gregory is still unsigned, mainly because he excels at three positions on the field – running back/wide receiver, defensive back, and kick returner.
– I think Gregory excels the most with the ball in his hands, as he made a lot of big plays for a team that struggled all season. Excellent speed, catches the ball well in space and is fearless.
– As a kick returner, Gregory shows quick feet and an elite ability to make people miss and explode into space. I think there’s a place

In watching Gregory on film, he plays for a program that doesn’t get a lot of spotlight, but he’s an explosive player with the football in his hands. Gregory does an excellent job of moving with speed and chaining his jukes and agility together, not losing acceleration when advancing the ball down the field. Gregory primarily does this from the running back position, but he also can line up as a slot receiver and catch passes as well. Gregory also shows some skills as a defensive back inam coverage – with his size he would be a slot defender for sure. I think Gregory could be an asset on Special Teams as a kickoff/punt returner also.

We put Cuthbertson on the offensive watchlist, but it’s only fair that we put him on the 1A Defensive Player of the year watchlist as well. While Winston-Salem Prep has struggled some, he’s been everywhere on defense, racking up 38 tackles, including six for loss and has forced a bunch of turnovers, both forcing fumbles and coming up with interceptions.
