Grayson gives you another option in the passing game from the tight end position. He looks comfortable releasing into his route, finding space between defenders, and giving the quarterback a bigger target to work with. I like when he works the middle of the field because he can become a tough matchup for linebackers trying to stay with him. As Grayson continues to grow into the position and develop as a blocker, there’s a lot you can eventually ask him to do within an offense.

Grayson had a steady and productive showing throughout camp, especially during testing and drill work where his movement and overall athletic ability were on display. He ran well in space, looked smooth through transitions, and showed a good natural rhythm in how he moved through each phase of the workout.

What also stood out was his natural hands — he tracked the ball cleanly and looked comfortable catching on the move without unnecessary bobbles or wasted motion. In drill periods, he stayed consistent and showed he can be relied on when the ball is in the air.

Grayson is a matchup nightmare in the passing game, using his size and body control to create separation over the middle and along the sidelines. He tracks the ball exceptionally well in traffic, consistently making contested catches and showing soft, reliable hands. In addition to his receiving ability, he’s physical after the catch, gaining extra yards with smart leverage and strong cuts. On the line, he shows solid blocking technique, able to sustain blocks and open lanes in both run and pass schemes. Grayson’s versatility makes him a weapon in multiple formations, and his instincts for finding openings in defenses give him a consistent edge on every snap.
