The senior has been ready all week for this matchup and will be called upon to establish the run game. Tarasi’s bread and butter is run blocking, and he can line up in multiple positions. On split zone, he generates great knockback on defensive ends and always gets his hands inside whatever defenders he’s blocking. He’s lethal as a lead blocker, with linebackers and safeties getting outmuscled by the 200-lbs tight end on the perimeter. Tarasi embraces contact and is typically the key blocker on touchdown runs.

As a linebacker, Tarasi’s angles to the ball-carrier are impressive, and he is a sure tackler. He’s aware and can sniff out screen plays effortlessly.
