Gavin’s highlights are a mixed bag of throws. He has some short and intermediate throws where he reads the defense and places the ball nicely. He has a few deep balls where he sees something pre-snap or immediately post-snap and hits his man for a chunk play. He seems to consistently make the right decisions time and time again. He has decent footwork, especially when he has time. If he continues this trajectory, I see no reason why he won’t climb his way up the rankings very soon.

Gavin brings a fresh style of play to the Everett offense.
A pro-style passer, Gavin has a highlight tape that makes me very optimistic about Everett’s offense for years to come. This is another very well-rounded tape. I’m most impressed with the volume of quick, decisive reads Gavin makes. Sometimes, it’s a quick slant that Gavin throws with great timing and power. Other times, it’s a play-action shot downfield. Gavin is all-around a step above most QBs in this class. Keep improving IQ, and Gavin could be a very good college prospect.
