About Gauge
Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Gauge had a strong day overall, especially in coverage where his quick-twitch ability stood out consistently. He showed sharp movement out of his breaks, staying light on his feet and reacting quickly to route changes without losing balance or speed.
In one-on-ones, he competed well and looked comfortable matching receivers, using his short-area quickness to close space and stay tight through transitions. What really showed was how fast he can redirect he doesn’t waste steps, which allows him to recover and stay in phase even when initially tested.
As he continues to develop his press technique and add more physicality at the line of scrimmage, his natural explosiveness and change of direction ability give him real upside as a cover corner moving forward.
