What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?
One of my biggest strengths is my football IQ. I understand what the defense is giving us, recognize my assignment, and make adjustments when needed. I’m also confident in my ability to get to the second level. I do a good job getting off my initial block, finding linebackers in space, and getting my hands on them to create lanes for our backs. I take pride in not just blocking the guy in front
What are you working to improve right now?
Right now, I’m working on becoming more consistent in pass protection, especially with my footwork, hand placement, and staying balanced through the block. I also want to keep improving my football IQ by recognizing defensive fronts and making quicker decisions at center. I’m confident getting to the second level, and I’m working on making those blocks even more consistent in space.
What are you looking for in a college program?
I’m looking for a college program with a strong football culture, great coaches, and a team that will push me to become the best player I can be. I want to be somewhere where I can develop as an offensive lineman, compete for playing time, and be held to a high standard. I want a school that will prepare me for life after football. Most importantly, I’m looking for a place that’s like home.
Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?
Outside of football, I’m a hard-working and dependable person. I take pride in working with my hands, learning new skills, and doing things the right way. I’m also big on family, my friends, and the people around me. I try to be someone others can count on, and I carry that same work ethic and attitude into everything I do.
What do you want to study, and what career interests you?
I’m interested in studying HVAC and building systems, with a focus on commercial HVAC. My goal is to become a skilled HVAC technician and eventually work my way up to a journeyman and leadership position in the trade. I enjoy working with my hands, solving problems, and learning how mechanical systems work, so HVAC is a career I can see myself building a future in.
