A true two-way presence in the trenches, Thompson plays with explosive energy and the power to control his gap on defense. He’s a natural disruptor, clogging up running lanes and forcing offenses to adjust. Offensively, he brings that same edge as a run blocker who plays with heavy hands and drive. In pass protection, he anchors well and absorbs bull rushers with ease. Thompson has a relentless motor and a high football IQ, making him a dominate force on both sides of the ball. With more varsity reps likely this season, he’s a name to track closely.
