Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Workman is coming off a productive all-region junior season and is a hidden gem in this area as we head into spring ball. Workman is a two-way player who will project out as a safety. Well-developed, prototype frame with D1 level athleticism in the secondary. Workman has the ball skills to execute when in position, and he violently engages blockers when coming downhill. A lot to like about this kid. I think there is clear D1 talent here, even if that buzz hasn’t fully materialized yet.

The safety prospect has been able to flex out to many different positions, even coming off the edge. He is as physical as you would hope, and has some fluid hips backtracking. Would be dangerous in the press, which is always a plus, but the best feature about him is his ability to extend for the ball. His catch radius is the best on this list, as he can reach a higher point than anyone else on this list. Workman has another year with more DB reps, but it will become more visible how dominant he can be at the position when that is the case.
