Eells is one of the best available pass rushers and someone is going to get a very nice late steal here as we approach signing day after the season concludes. He gets off the ball quick, sets his inside hands with a violent punch and quick lockout and can chase backside, bend the corner and plays flat and stout against the run. To no surprise, he has been off to a hot start in his final prep season and tallied 3 sacks while seemingly unblockable through the first two weeks of play for Capital. Carroll College and Utah Tech have already offered and expect more FCS schools to come in soon.

Eells is one of the top edge defenders in the state and is coming off a very productive Junior season where he lived in the backfield and he passes the eye test for the next level along the defensive line. He snaps off the ball, can create immediate pressure off the edge and plays with violent hands when turning the corner and is a natural bender with primary and secondary moves in his toolbox. He shows he can lock out and sit on the edge, take on drives and double teams and eats up blocks while shutting down the whole half of the field. He is a very high motor kid that chases backside and is seemingly always around the ball with tremendous pass rush abilities from anywhere up front. The Senior rusher has been very under-recruited to this point and will be a very nice late steal here soon.
