Evan had a great showing at the camp and had plenty of coaches buzzing about him. He has thick build and strong lower half that allows him to create a lot of speed to power in his rush. Evan plays with a lot of energy, he is physical with active hands. He is able to get skinny working the inside shoulder of the offensive lineman, and shows a wide array of pass rush moves to get off blocks. A nice overall athlete who runs well plays with quick feet. Evan has a skill set that college coaches look for in a DL prospect. He currently holds a handful of FBS offers and I expect more to come with some Power 4 looks as well.

After having a dominant junior season, the offers are rolling for Powell. He has great size and is a wrecking ball for Huntingtown. Just since April he’s landed 9 offers and his recruiting stock has taken a huge leap. He holds offers from West Virginia, Temple, and Buffalo as well as a few more along the east coast. Look for his recruiting to continue to grow.
