Higgs is one of the top returning players across the Northern Section and is a do it all back for paradise. He is a tough hard nosed runner that looks for contact in the hole, gets vertical quickly and shows outstanding contact balance and leg drive through contact while always falling forward and gaining the tough yards inside. Higgs has good lateral twitch, short area quickness and start/stop abilities while showing he can break away in the clear downfield and make defenders miss in space with a good initial burst. He is a natural pass catcher in the flats or downfield out of the backfield and one of the better backs that is still available heading into the Fall. Look for Higgs to gather plenty of college attention here late and is going to be a steal at the NAIA/D2/D3 level.
