The CVC standout has been one of the top players across Idaho for the past couple years and is a plus athlete with tremendous size, length, range and natural play making abilities on either side of the ball. As a linebacker he is fluid, violent at the POA and can cover and bang int he box while showing sideline to sideline abilities as well. He has been off to a hot start to his final prep season and erupted for 150+ yards on the ground and 2 scores while doubling duties on defense and registered 8 tackles on the night while everywhere on the field through out the same. He is going to be a big time steal at the next level and currently holds one offer from Army. Look for him to be scooped up by the Big Sky when it’s all said and done.

Minegar is a very interesting prospect that can play multiple positions on either side of the ball and is versatile and his a wide skillset on offense and defense. Offensively from the slot he is a big and physical receiver with good explosion off the ball and open field speed to create seperation and has consistent hands and runs through open field tacklers with some wiggle as well. Defensively, he is quick off the edge with natural bend around the corner and has a variety of pass rush moves in his toolbox while able to collapse the pocket quickly and chase down backside. He is a high motor kid that fly’s around and is always around the ball making plays in space. He should find his home as a outside linebacker in college and holds offers from Air Force and Army already.

Minegar is a very fluid and explosive athlete that does tons of damage on both sides of the ball but should find his home as a outside linebacker/edge rusher at the next level. From the edge, he explodes out of his stance and can turn the corner with twitch and quick hands, turning his hips and shoulders quickly when winning the corner. He can get underneath bigger blockers and collapse the pocket quickly on the backside and knows when to counter back inside and win with speed and sudden movements in tight spaces. He is a very high motor player that quickly redirects and can lockout and play stout when setting the edge. Heading into the 2026 season, he will also be one of the top offensive weapons across Idaho and should gather plenty of D3+ interest/offers down the stretch.
