Expert Analysis
Tyler Graham | Prep Redzone Scout
Elliott has started to separate himself as a top tier 2-way player. With his size and athleticism, the ceiling is as high as anyone in his class. He was one of the most locked in and driven players in the building on Sunday, and it showed with a great performance.
-Built incredibly solid, one of the strongest and more explosive athletes in the 2027 class
-Great speed and change of direction allows him to cover ground in a hurry
-Sure hands and great ability to track the ball and high point the ball
-Could legitimately take off on the offensive or defensive side of the ball, or even play both ways at the next level

Through the first 5 weeks, Elliott has exceeded my expectations and established himself as a two-way stud. Offensively, he has been productive at WR, displaying strong ball skills and reliable hands to win contested catches. However, defensively I think he has been even more impressive. He shows an aggressive, downhill mindset stopping the run as he flies up from the safety position with physicality. His closing speed and ability to diagnose plays quickly makes him get to the point of attack ready to make the play. He stays square to the line of scrimmage, takes good pursuit angles and brings the power with him. Elliott is a versatile player that is continuing to raise his stock.

It’s extremely rare to see competitiveness show up on a highlight tape. Elliott is a competitive, chippy (in a good way) player. He cares a lot about his performance, and is absolutely locked in when playing.
Elliott is one of the better run-stopping safeties in the state. I know he’s also been working on his pass defense, though I haven’t seen enough to accurately grade him there. A little quicker reaction time and better pursuit angles will upgrade Elliott’s run defense to an All-State level.
Has size, athletic ability, and competitiveness to be an awesome Division 1 college football player!

A major sleeper. Elliott is an under-the-radar prospect who checks a ton of boxes.
First, good athletic traits. Verified 4.59 shuttle, 106-inch broad jump, and 29-inch vertical. Plus, a great highlight tape. The tape kicks off with a one-handed snag, showcasing his dexterity. Next, a punishing hit on an unsuspecting ballcarrier expecting an easy TD. The rest of Elliott’s tape further showcases his physicality and athleticism. Lastly, a few plays show a little flare. It’s obvious that Elliott is a competitor, and in my eyes, he’s a MAC prospect.
