Baldini has improved each year and become a bigger focal point of the offense as he’s earned it. He’s always been efficient, averaging over 7.5 YPC in all 3 seasons. He’s a 1-cut runner who doesn’t waste time dancing in the backfield. His vision and ability to see things develop in front of him are top-notch notch and he’ll fight for hard-earned yards. He put up 1431 rushing yards and 15 TDs on the season, all while having his biggest year through the air. He added another 218 yards and 3 TDs as a receiver.

Baldini had a strong Week One performance in a decisive 48-0 victory over Peru. Baldini wastes no time getting upfield, churning forward for positive yards and displaying great dual-threat ability out of the backfield. He is just as much a threat in the running game as he is in the passing game when utilized as a receiver on screens. He recorded 13 carries for 184 yards, two catches for 36 yards, and four total touchdowns.

Baldini had a good sophomore year after getting his feet wet as a freshman. He’s got a solid build with long legs that chew up yardage in a hurry. He’s strong enough to finish runs and can break through arm tackles. He’s also good out of the backfield and has soft hands. His 81 carries for 685 yards and 14 TDs on the ground, with 5 grabs and 113 yards and 2 TDs through the air, and a 93-yard kickoff return for a TD rounded out his Sophomore year. I anticipate him being the full-time starter and showing what he can do with that workload, but so far, he looks promising.
