He’s a long, athletic DB with fluid hips and the ability to open up and run with just about anyone. In coverage, he played with patience and confidence, not biting on double moves and showing great recovery speed when tested deep.
What stood out most was his ball awareness he consistently got his head around in time to make plays and wasn’t afraid to challenge receivers at the catch point. Elijajuan also showed good footwork in change of direction drills and wasn’t shy about coming downhill in run support.
His performance at TCU showed he’s a well rounded defensive back with the size, instincts, and competitiveness to play on the outside or in the slot. He definitely helped his stock with this showing.
