About Elijah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Elijah Woods is a dynamic running back with elite vision, quick acceleration, and natural shiftiness that make him dangerous in open space. A smart runner with great hands and pass-blocking ability, he also brings added value as a versatile athlete who can line up in the slot and create mismatches in the passing game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the field, I like building things and solving puzzles. I enjoy figuring out how things work, and that carries over to football. I study the game, look for patterns, and try to understand everything so I can play smart and stay a step ahead.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills by learning to play different roles on the field and putting the team’s success first. I’m a thinker. I love solving problems, so I study the game and help teammates understand what’s happening. I also lead by example with my effort, focus, and willingness to do whatever is needed for the team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Throughout little league, I’ve had to move to four different teams. Each time, I had to prove myself from scratch, working harder than everyone else to show I belonged. It taught me resilience, built my confidence, and helped me grow into a player who doesn’t shy away from competition.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong engineering program and a great overall culture—one that values tradition, supports its students, and has a sense of community. I also hope to be part of a competitive football team where I can continue to grow as a student-athlete.

He is a shifty running back who makes defenders miss in tight spaces, has the hip fluidity to change direction on a dime and has the vision and speed to get to the edge. He’s effective as a pass catcher and is a weapon in open space. Big time player to know.
