Fantastic player out of BNI, this slippery running back is a real danger with the ball in his hand AND without as he doubles as a lock down corner. While his speed isn’t what some would call “elite” he has enough wiggle and breakaway ability to score from anywhere on the field. He does a good job of catching the ball out of the backfield as well and is not afraid to stick his nose in the middle of the defense. Being a junior he has time still to develop and while I wouldn’t label him as RAW, he still has some things to work on in all facets of his game. He currently holds one offer and is beginning to gather interest from Indiana and Central Michigan. Look for a big senior season in 2025. His Twitter handle is @ElijahBoone_

Coming off of his first 1000 yard season, it was imperative for Boone to take advantage of this offseason. So far, he’s done a great job. He tested really well on Sunday and then his drill work that followed was just as promising. He’s exciting player to watch when he gets the ball in his hands and doesn’t try to do too much. He had one of the faster 40s of the day at 4.79, but then ran the 2 fastest shuttle drills of the day. He rounded out the testing landing in the top 10 of the broad jump at 9’4″. As of Sunday, he checked in at 5’11” and 163lbs. His build is clearly taking shape and he’s beginning to be a very productive back. Boone is trending in the right direction and could take off this fall in recruitment.
