Dyson is a 5’10 safety who plays with confidence, toughness, and a consistent motor on the back end. Despite his size, he shows no hesitation stepping into the box and competing physically, willing to take on blockers and finish tackles in space.

He moves well in coverage and stays active reading routes in front of him, allowing him to stay involved in plays and break on the ball when opportunities come. Dyson shows good effort from sideline to sideline and doesn’t take plays off, always working to get around the football.

Dyson had an impressive showing at the camp, standing out as a defensive back with excellent instincts and athleticism. In coverage drills, he displayed smooth footwork, staying low and balanced while mirroring receivers’ routes. During one-on-one reps, he reacted quickly to changes in direction and used his length and agility to contest passes effectively. In cone and agility drills, Dyson showed quick hips and fluid movement, allowing him to change direction on a dime while maintaining speed and control. His ability to track the ball, stay engaged in coverage.

 Washington Jr. possesses great feet, fluid hips, and violent hands at the point of attack, allowing him to excel in both coverage and run support. His ball skills and versatility make him a valuable asset in the secondary, as he can effectively play nickel, safety, or cornerback. With his speed and lockdown ability, Washington has drawn increased attention from college programs. He recently took a visit to Houston and will be on campus at Oklahoma this weekend as his recruitment continues to heat up.
