Petrocco is another premier offensive lineman apart of Cherry Creek’s arsenal. Measures in at 6’3 270-pounds. Petrocco maintains a low pad level to out leverage his opponent. He rips through blocks with ease. Very good initial quickness and hand speed. Very good strength paired with very good hand strength and placement to control and steer the defender at will. Very good knee bend, flexibility, foot quickness, and good balance. He neutralizes pass rushes moves with ease. Powerful anchor. He’s dominant in both the pass and run game. Uses his good acceleration and speed to achieve very good pull blocking and it assists him from going to the 1st and 2nd level blocks. Petrocco is an aggressive lineman with very good competitive toughness. He consistently plays through the whistle, and wins the rep. It’s only a matter of time until colleges start to give him offers.

Dominic Petrocco is a big-time offensive lineman that looks the part on paper and in the weight room. The Centennial State offensive linemen weighs in at a big 250 and stands at 6’2. Dominic has already shown glimpses of what he can do in the weight room. With a 520-pound squat, a 545-pound deadlift, and a 275-pound bench press Dominic is already hitting weight room numbers that most kids don’t see until they are juniors in high school. With his size and strength, it is clear why Petrocco has been able to do what he does between the hashes. At this level, he has no problem moving opponents around when he wants to. The way I see it, if Dominic can continue to build those numbers in the weight room, improve foot speed and continue to compete the way he does, he has a good chance to be playing on Saturday’s in the future. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dominic comes out as one of the most sought-after linemen in Colorado in a few years.

Dominic is a strong, dominant force in the trenches coming out of the state of Colorado. Just from what I have seen from him, it is clear that Dominic has to be near the top of any discussion about top interior defensive linemen coming out of Colorado in this 2027 class. With his unmatched strength and ability, Dominic has no problem breaking through the attempted double team’s up front and bringing the ball carrier down. His pass rushing ability also allows him to blow through the line of scrimmage and put pressure on the quarterback on any given down. With everything that I have seen from Dominic, it is clear that is capable of being a piece to build a defense around.
