About Devin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A relentless competitor with a drive to improve every day, I bring energy, toughness, and intensity to every rep. I pride myself on being coachable and ready to work with a great attitude.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m growth-driven and constantly pushing to elevate my game. I stay resilient through challenges, learn from every setback, and bring my best when the pressure is highest.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has helped shape my leadership and teamwork skills—I’ve learned how to encourage others, stay composed in tough moments, and lead by example. Giving back through community service has strengthened my character and reminded me that success includes helping others grow. These experiences have made me a more grounded and dependable person on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 2018, I lost my older sister in a car accident. It was a very difficult experience in my life, but it taught me resilience, perspective, and the importance of staying grateful. Her memory motivates me every day to work hard, stay focused, and make the most of every opportunity.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a disciplined, competitive football program where I can keep growing as an athlete. I want coaches who focus on player development, accountability, and a team-first mentality. Coming from Sweeny, TX, I’m used to a hard-working football culture, and I’m looking for a school that matches that energy and gives me the opportunity to earn my spot and make an impact.
