As a DB, he had 23 total tackles, (9 solo, 14 assisted), and 2 TFL. He has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction , jumping, good acceleration, and speed. He uses his very shift feet to have a good release at the line of scrimmage. Esparza uses his quick cuts to get open, and has good separation quickness. He’ll fight through the contact during the route. Good ball tracking skills and catching. He also has good body adjustment and will contort his body to make the catch. When the ball is in his hands, he uses his very good change of direction to juke out defenders and get extra yardage. I’m very excited to see how he does this upcoming season.

Small but mighty, he’ll fight through contact and come down with the contested catch. After the catch, he uses dynamic juke moves to make defenders miss. I’m excited to see how Esparza does next season after a stellar start to the off-season.

Esparza’s very quick feet and shiftiness made him stand out amongst the receivers. Having the 2^nd fastest shuttle time amongst wide receivers, Esparza had a great performance during the drills. He has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, jumping, good speed and acceleration. Esparza has good release at the line of scrimmage due to his very quick feet. His ability to beat the press jam was fantastic. He made some DBs miss with his elusiveness out in the open space. Paired with his good ball tracking and catching, makes him a formidable opponent.

Esparza’s stock is clearly on the rise, and he’s a must-watch prospect moving forward.
