Deshaun had a slow start but found his groove on day 2 as the camp started to crank up. He has a quick first step and uses his hands well. He is better on the edge, and can get past blockers quickly. He also got some reps with the LB’s and I am sure he will get some of that work this fall also.

Although he started off slowly; Deshaun found his groove late, finding a mix of moves that get him some wins. He has a quick first step and bring plenty of strength. He is quick enough to play on the edge, and strong enough to compete in the interior. Although a bit undersized, he plays with a strong motor and all heart.

Deshaun spent most of his time on the defensive side and it benefitted him greatly. He was able to use multiple moves to get past blockers and win most of his reps. He plays fast with quick feet and a low pad level. He gets off the ball quickly and can hold off blockers well into the backfield. Deshaun had his best tournament this season.

Deshaun eventually found his groove after struggling early in the tournament. He plays with a wide base, and has quickness off the ball. He did struggle against larger players, but held his own overall and demonstrated some good skills against excellent competition.

Deshaun got off to a slow start, but found his rhythm quickly. He soon began to show his quick feet and technique in drills. During competition, he held his own and contributed to his team’s performance. He showed enormous work ethic and earned some praise from coaches.
