Cardine is an explosive edge rusher who I don’t think stays hidden for very long. His get off and ability to get deep into the backfield in just a few steps is fairly rare. He bends well, he’s nimble, and plays with a relentless motor. He just seems to be wired the right way for the position. His 45 tackles, 14 TFLs, and 8 sacks (which led all Indiana freshmen) were enough to get him on my radar, and likely many more moving forward.

Cardine is a speedy edge rusher who has done a good job getting home this year and forcing the opposing QB to speed up his clock. He’s able to get around and underneath blocks fairly quickly. He’s fairly nimble and has good agility, so he’s able to move side to side without an issue. I like his motor and how he finishes each rep. His 30 tackles, 8 TFLs, 5 sacks, and 7 hurries show his effectiveness near the LOS.
