Smith was an absolute force in the Wildcats upset victory in “Week Ten” over Antioch where he constantly played in the Bears backfield and was a major reason behind the win. Smith has been a consistent performer all season long but this was his best game to date. His active motor, instincts in finding the ball and quick first step proved to be tough to handle for the Antioch blockers as they couldn’t do anything to stop him. Smith is a top candidate to earn All-State honors by season end and will be a key player in the Wildcats effort at advancing in the coming playoffs.

This senior linebacker was an absolute force that could not be blocked with his activity and motor being a difference maker in the Cats region title win. Smith was geared into this game and never stopped attacking until the final whistle. On several occasions throughout the game, Smith made big play after big play, either making tackles in space to stall drives or chasing down Adams and stopping him short from picking up first downs. This was the best game of the year from Smith and one that helped his recruiting stock.
