You need your stars to step up in the playoffs and to say Martin was ready would be an understatement. He came out right away with a ton of energy and his team followed. He kept the energy up all night and his boys feasted off of it. He was 1 yard short of rushing for 300 on the night with 3 TDs. He broke an 80-yarder for his long of the night, but Friday was the Martin show.

Bursting onto the scene and having a stellar year was the big play back out of West Lafayette. Their offense was fun to watch last year and Martin was a big reason why. His versatility out of the backfield and vision give him so many advantages on the field. They used him out of the backfield quite a bit as a pass catcher as a junior. He still then rushed for 1300 yards and 17 TDs. Easily one of the more consistent backs in the class and deserving of more eyes.
